Being featured twice before on Ben Trovato, it was about time we featured something exclusive with Ninelle. Having focused on other forms of photography for a while, it was exciting to hear that she wanted to shoot a fashion story for us. And not just any story: "- This story is very special to me. I was focusing on my fine art and music photography, and was on a year hiatus from fashion, until I received a call from a friend booker to photograph a model that just arrived in town for a few days. Once I googled "Janelle Fishman", my jaw dropped and I was astounded by the opportunity."
As some of you might know, Janelle Fishman is an iconic face. Her strength and elegance are captivating: "- Yes, and having worked with such incredible artists as Terry Richardson and Ellen von Unwerth, it was an honor to share her company to make this story. She's been the face of many images that have inspired me, and now she as a person has inspired. We shot two more times during her visit, and connected as friends. We both are looking forward to making a fine art series to showcase later on in the year. This is what drives my work, and love for it: a muse."
Janelle Fishman was styled by Basia Richard, and had hair and make up done by Adam J Breuchaud. The story is named after Irène Némirovsky's novel Fire In The Blood.
Ninelle, originally from Minsk, Belarus, began her photography study through photographing details and models for her painting work. Read more about Ninelle's background here.
